Carrier & Methods
All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Standard Shipping
A flat rate of $15.00 applies to standard orders, with an estimated delivery window of 3–5 business days.
Priority Shipping
For faster delivery, a Priority 1–2 day shipping option is available for $35.00.
Free Shipping
Orders exceeding $75.00 qualify for free standard shipping.
Domestic Only
Shipping is currently limited to addresses within the United States. No international shipping is offered at this time.
Please note that due to state agricultural regulations, certain plants or plant material shipped in soil may be restricted from delivery to California (CA), Arizona (AZ), Texas (TX), and Washington (WA). It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that their state permits the receipt of ordered plant material prior to purchase. Crooked Finger Farm holds a valid state nursery license and complies with all applicable federal and state agricultural regulations.
Weather Protection Add-Ons
When temperatures are expected to fall below 50°F during transit, we strongly recommend adding a Weather Protection Bundle to your order. Two options are available at checkout:
- Standard Bundle – $6.00 — Includes one 72-hour heat pack and insulation liner. Suitable for most orders.
- Large Package Bundle – $8.00 — Includes two 72-hour heat packs and insulation liner. Recommended for larger or multi-plant orders.
Purchasing a Weather Protection Bundle is required to qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee during cold weather conditions.
Live Plant Disclaimer & Liability
Shipping Stress
Plants are living organisms that may experience stress during transit. Minor issues like leaf yellowing or small cosmetic damage are common and are not eligible for refunds.
Weather Awareness
It is the buyer's responsibility to monitor local weather conditions. Shipping during extreme heat (above 90°F) or cold can cause plants to rot or die. Orders placed during extreme weather conditions are shipped at the buyer's own risk.
Carrier Delays
While we strive for timely delivery, Crooked Finger Farm is not responsible for delays caused by USPS, lost packages, or damages incurred during the shipping process after an order has left our facility.
Agricultural Regulations
All shipments must comply with federal and state agricultural statutes. Certain plants may be restricted from shipping to specific states due to quarantine laws intended to prevent the spread of invasive pests. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that their state permits the receipt of ordered plant material.
Arrival Issues
Please inspect your plants immediately upon delivery. If significant damage has occurred, photo or video evidence must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery for us to evaluate potential claims. Claims submitted after this window may not be honored.
Returns & Refunds
Because plants are perishable, all live plant sales are final. We do not accept returns on live plant material. If an issue occurs, replacements or store credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
